Sea ice drift and wave measurements during ICEX2020

By laraf |

The sea ice drifter trajectories and wave measurements during ICEX2020 (U.S. Navy Ice Exercises in 2020). The trajectories and wave measurements were obtained by instruments deployed on pack ice in the Beaufort Sea. For more information about the deployment, see: Johnson, Mark et al. Observing Wind-Forced Flexural-Gravity Waves in the Beaufort Sea and Their Relationship to Sea Ice Mechanics, 2021. The data are created, stored, and quality checked using the code available at: https://github.com/BrazhnikovDmitry/wave_data_release/blob/main/create_nc_ICEX2020.py. More data may be available at this address than in this nc file. Please discuss any question / issue about the present data inside the issue tracker of the github repository.
