Videos and extracted frames from Blueye ROV camera during MOSAiC Leg 4 (PS122/4) and Leg 5 (PS122/2). During Leg 4, images were taken in a lead and under level ice on 07.07.2020 when the ice floe was located in the western Fram Strait (81 37N, 4 17E). The footage shows an algae layer at the interface between the freshwater lens, originating from meltwater at the surface, and the more saline ocean water below. During leg 5, images were taken in a lead and under level ice on 12.09.2020 in the Amundsen Basin (88 46N, 100 24E). These images show platelet ice at the base of the ice. ** For all details see the full metadata description at "https://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.941553"!
