  • Upper Air Observation Data of First Chinese Arctic Expedition

    ,

Datacenter: Polar Research Institute of China
    Collection: ADC, GCW
    Iso topic category: Climatology/Meteorology/Atmosphere
    Show Abstract
There are total 23 radiosondes released in this expedition and 16 times of ozone data were obtained (see Table). Using the above GPS sounding system, we got the profile of pressure, temperature, relative humility, wind and ozone from surface to more than 25,000 m altitude, with vertical resolution 50 m. The maximum altitude of balloon depends on the balloon and weather conditions. During the expedition, the maximum altitude is 31,500 m. During the observation period, there are 2 times dense and successive observation on the united ice station.
